Salut mes amis!
Yesterday was a day spent in the garden, sorting the garden, potting, planting, putting down gravel, digging up, digging down. Anything and everything you can do in a garden – we did!
After a year of garden anxiety – haha yes garden landscaping is somewhat of an enigma – I called my dear friend Natalie, who coincidentally is an amazing landscape architect, in a panic and for some help. We had a long chat over the phone about what to think about when designing a garden. Natalie gave me so many amazing tips and suggestions, that I’ve decided to write a bit of a garden blog this weekend (stay tuned!). But beyond the general tips, she also drew up a whole garden plan for us. So I had my work cut out and boy o boy did I work. Perhaps it is therefore not surprising that I woke up feeling tired and sore in my muscles today. We, therefore, decided to treat ourselves to a good old french breakfast, consisting of, at least in my household, camembert, confiture and toasted baguette with black coffee. And, last but not least, freshly cut wildflowers from the field.
As always, do press the little heart if you like this post – it brings me so much joy to know that you are reading and liking what I’m writing.
