So it’s been over two – TWO – years since I saw my friends and family, but I finally managed to get myself back home to Gothenburg! A blissful and fantastic ten days of swimming, eating, drinking champagne and travelling all around the Swedish coast.
We started the days with some swimming at one of my favourite spots close to Saltholmen and the little island of Ängholmen.
We then headed to Bar La Lune for some refreshment (they have the best wine in Gothenburg!), followed by dinner at Magasinsgatan.
The last days were spent swimming some more and visiting my grandmother in her little house by the sea in Falkenberg.
And on the last night, my beautiful lilla mamma and I went and bought a must-have korv (sausage) at one of Gothenburg’s oldest “Korv kiosk” (sausage kiosk!) – it has been there since the 50s!
Now I’m back in Scotland and looking forward to doing some redecoration in the house. Being home always gives me so much inspiration and I have already managed to get my hands on some amazing antique finds! Stay tuned for some more goodies in the next post.
As always, do press the little heart if you like this post – it brings me so much joy to know that you are reading and liking what I’m writing.
